Patient information

I see and treat NHS patients, UK and international private patients both as outpatients and inpatients.

NHS patients are generally seen at East Riding Community Hospital (ERCH Beverley), as part of the Hull and East Yorkshire NHS trust. I also see choose and book NHS patients at the Spire Hospital in Anlaby. NHS operations are normally carried out in Castle Hill hospital (simple cases) and Hull Royal infirmary (complex cases). Occasionally NHS operations are carried out at The Spire hospital, via the Chose and book scheme (please ask your GP regarding this option).

Private patients are seen in my private outpatient clinic at The Spire Hospital (Hull) and Nuffield Health (York). Both hospitals have state of the art theatre suites with a recovery ward. The Spire Hospital also has access to an intensive care unit, allowing more complex pathology to be treated. The York Nuffield hospital has recently become the 3rd hospital in the UK to move to a completely paper-free / electronic patient records system, enhancing their environmental credentials and allowing for a smooth 21st century patient pathway.
